Lewis with a big reception, catches over the middle and runs for good yardage afterwards.

I love when we run outside but we hardly ever do it, nice 8 yard run by Lewis and then another rushing TD by Lewis.

Great start to the third, App had long TD drive that eats up over 5 minutes of clock. 23-21 App State takes the lead.

Still don't know why we didn't try to run the ball like this against Georgia Southern. We only had 23 attempts that game and they were the worst rushing defense in the league. Today we have already run the ball 27 times. Good things come when you establish the run.

I don’t think we’re a good team but we at least look like we care today. Guys are playing hard. I can always appreciate that.

Defense keeps them to a FG and now that bonehead 2 point conversion play is really looming large, 24-23 Marshall

Roll QB on 3rd and 1 with both 22 and 7 in the backfield.

Why run a lumbering QB with 2 RBs in the backfield and expect him to be the one to get a first down. That play took way to long to evolve. Lewis is averaging over 5 a carry and that's the choice?

Why were people claiming that Kohl could run? I have yet to see him move with any urgency that suggest he could be a threat to run. At least he didn't "slide" that time. We come up short on 3rd and 1 and have to punt.
