Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Good for him! I hope he finds huge success there. I think Cincy will give him the resources to show what he can really do.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Louisville has some of the best resources in the country, think they just forced him out. Less pressure at cincy and moving to big 12 might be enticing. Really weird by louisville but their fans seem to be thrilled.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Probably good move on his part. On the side of ACC he is on...will be tough beating Clemson and Fla..St. annually.
With the new Big 12 with Texas and Oklahoma leaving, he may be able to do well in a few years.
Cincy is not that far from Louisville. He may be able to pull players to make move.

IMO I don’t think Scott has done squat at Louisville. This seems like a really weird deal.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
That's what I meant as far as resources. Louisville was an unwinnable endeavor but the money was good. Satt did what he could there but they weren't all in with him...and the fans were some of the most unrealistic people on this earth. Cincy will be a good fit for him.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Not sure if its common knowledge, but those schools are big rivals, historically. They play for the “Keg of Nails” trophy, and they have a ton in common.
Seems like a tough landing spot for Satt in some ways, as Fickell left big shoes to fill and it seems like Cincy wouldn’t be any better a natural fit for him than Louisville, no?

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
if they forced him out with an ultimatum and didn’t really fire him, would they still have to pay his buyout? seems like they kinda canned him.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Louisville fans conveniently forgot the mess they had with Petrino and how much Satt had to change within that program. That program was on life support when he got there.

Congrats Coach!! Much better situation!
This transition seems like a perfect time to bring Gasparato and Coach Ivey back home.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I guess die-hard Louisville folks think Lamar Jackson is walking back through the doors up there. You would think that NIL would be insane up there.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I hope Satterfield didn't walk without addressing the team first. Based off what the louisville players are tweeting, it sounds like he took the job and didnt tell anyone...yikes.
