We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Troy Trojans
I'm expecting them to be tough too, hoping we dont have a let down after the huge win. Didn't we drop a game real soon after Michigan?

Nope, that was the season opener at ECU. Travaris Cadet came in late in the game and almost led a great comeback.appalum2003 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 5:11 pmwas that the landscaping incident game? my memory is failing meBeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:55 pmTo be fair, AE was injured for that gameWataugaMan wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:46 pmYes, Wofford.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:44 pmI'm expecting them to be tough too, hoping we dont have a let down after the huge win. Re: Troy Trojans
No, I believe it was a nagging injury from the Michigan game (supposedly).appalum2003 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 5:11 pmwas that the landscaping incident game? my memory is failing meBeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:55 pmTo be fair, AE was injured for that gameWataugaMan wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:46 pmYes, Wofford.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:44 pmI'm expecting them to be tough too, hoping we dont have a let down after the huge win. Re: Troy Trojans
AE missed the 2 games following Michigan, returned for Wofford, reinjured his shoulder during the 1st half of that game and missed the next 2 games. Fortunately we had Trey Elder. I would not count Wofford as a let down game since it was 3 weeks after Michigan and injuries were a factor. That Wofford team was a decent team also.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 5:18 pmNo, I believe it was a nagging injury from the Michigan game (supposedly).appalum2003 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 5:11 pmwas that the landscaping incident game? my memory is failing meBeauFoster wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:55 pmTo be fair, AE was injured for that gameWataugaMan wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:46 pmYes, Wofford.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 3:44 pmI'm expecting them to be tough too, hoping we dont have a let down after the huge win. Let’s hope the players have the maturity and guidance to handle it. Since it is a conference game, I’m hoping our goal to win a conference championship will guide our focus. Our conference is proving to be tough and a loss next week could put us behind the 8 ball right out of the gate.

Re: Troy Trojans
Troy is no slouch. Their offense is exactly the kind of offenses we struggle with. They will throw the ball all over the field and let their athletes take control.
Best way to keep a good offense off the field is to keep our offense on it. I bet we see another dose of ball control offense.

I have confidence that Coach Clark will immediately re-focus the team on Troy...this is a ring game baby!

Re: Troy Trojans
I think this team is just different. We have a crazy good offensive line, depth at receiver and tight end and obviously at running back. Have we ever had this amount of guys who can play? We can choose to run or pass. We seem to have righted the ship on defense and have decent depth on that side of the ball. I am not ready to predict a table run but if we remain focused it's a little scary how dominant we could be. Coach seems to be able to maintain that focus. Last Saturday won't mean much if we lay an egg against teams we should beat.

Re: Troy Trojans
Just looking at stats surprised they don’t have a rusher with 100 yds on the season.

I'm not as worried about Troy as I am our SBC East brethren. The SBC East seems to be tough tough tough this year.

What a difference a real OC makes. We need to have some bake sales to give him a raise so he'll stay around another year.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 7:46 pmI think this team is just different.
