That scenario has been an issue before when old Stadium Lot was there, I qualified for it but wanted to park in Music Lot... They told me "We need you to park in Stadium" as there were many empty spots in Stadium lot back then. But to answer your question--- It should be allowed to chose whatever lot you qualify for. I do realize this would cause Yosef staff extra work, following all the bumps through. Eventually, it will have to be done.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:51 pmNot to throw a wrench in that plan because it’s logical, but what do you do with a donor that gives enough to park in the Stadium Deck but wants to park in Peacock?YesAppCan wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:32 pmI still believe priority points should be used first BUT one has to meet annual giving requirement of lot. If bigger donors continue donating large sums, their priority points will quickly catch up. A donor only depending on priority points with minimum, lot required, giving will lose ground eventually to larger donors. We need a reshuffle after this year- do it by points first. Larger, really all, new donors will be put where their new donation’s points align them. If they continue to give larger amounts, they will quickly move up to lot of their choice.

Re: Football Parking 2022
That’s what I was wanting to hear. I agree that you should be able to park down if you wish. That creates a backlog as the trickle down affect takes hold. 20 people that park on the Rivers Street Deck that could park in the Stadium Deck creates a situation where 20 people in Legends could be moved out without giving them empty spaces in the Stadium. It’s a slippery slope and one I am going to ask about at some point this season.YesAppCan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:35 amThat scenario has been an issue before when old Stadium Lot was there, I qualified for it but wanted to park in Music Lot... Based on presumed increases from the increase in minimum donation level this year, I would say you're right about that assumption.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 5:44 amLooking through all this material, I'm guessing close yo half the 3,800 or so members are giving $1,000+ a year.

Same. For whatever reason I never saw a 2021 published so who knows if they'll do it again.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 12:10 pmI’ll be interested to see what this chart looks like next year.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 12:03 pmBased on presumed increases from the increase in minimum donation level this year, I would say you're right about that assumption.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 5:44 amLooking through all this material, I'm guessing close yo half the 3,800 or so members are giving $1,000+ a year.

I would be interested to see what it looks like this year. I was in the middle of this chart, increased my giving and dropped 60 spots.

Re: Football Parking 2022
The total is up to almost 6800 now so more than double what is posted. I’m sure a good chunk of that is SYC. Safe to say at least a 1000 are new full members.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 12:15 pmSame. I moved up quite a bit but have somehow dropped about 10 spots since late July.

The Holmes lot will go offline next year too. Where will these folks go?canes_mj wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 2:25 pmNext year would be a perfect time to rework and implement updated parking policies as the donations per ticket required will be changing. Seems these 2 things go hand in hand and it would be great if they addressed them both at the same time and the beginning of the new ticketing would be the perfect time. We may have a lot more movement with parking spaces next year, people moving up or down, or not getting parking at all, since required donations will be going up, or people who already give beyond minimums getting upgraded.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Most certainly. The reason that I questioned it was the timing of the drop. Donations had to be half paid by the end of June to renew ST so you would think rankings should be somewhat static after July 1. I’m not upset about it. My falling a few spots is a good thing for App.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Holmes lot does go offline but that slack probably gets picked up bu the lot going in at Bowie and Eggers. I think that new Holmes Deck will add enough spaces to support those in Peacock while that’s offline. After that, we should be good for parking without issues.LoyaltoAPP wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 1:31 pmThe Holmes lot will go offline next year too. Re: Football Parking 2022
Okay, I'm the person TheMoody is referring to. We donated $625 to Yosef Club this year along with a few hundred more to the University (not that that counts). We have also had 4 Season tickets for over seven years. I'm not as bent out of shape about the parking pass now as I had been. I think part of it is my fault for not requesting a spot early enough because we were considering a much larger donation and I was going to ask for better parking. I don't donate to the YC for a parking pass but it is nice to have one.TheMoody1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 6:40 pmI don't know all the specifics. He has parked in Legends for the last several years, upped his donation this year, and didn't get a pass.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 5:52 pmTheMoody1, Just so I better understand…TheMoody1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 7:25 amI have a friend that donated more this year and was still bumped.Appstate88 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 4:40 pmMy understanding… Once you get a space as long as you give the needed amount for that parking lot every year you keep your spot. You do not get bumped.
What amount did your friend donate to YC last year. What lot was your friend assigned for 2021 football season?

Re: Football Parking 2022
They do allow this...I give more than the lot I currently park in requires; I qualify for a different lot that's at a higher giving level, but I like the lot I'm in and requested to remain in it and was told it was ok and allowed to do so. I have several friends who do the same.YesAppCan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:35 amThat scenario has been an issue before when old Stadium Lot was there, I qualified for it but wanted to park in Music Lot... Peacock addition/renovation and Edwin Duncan renovation are hoped to be started in fall of 2023 so if that timetable holds there will be a loss of spaces in Raleigh/Peacock lot for the construction project....AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 2:20 pmHolmes lot does go offline but that slack probably gets picked up bu the lot going in at Bowie and Eggers. The new lot at Bowie eggers should be about 135 to 150 spaces I think that there were 60 or 70 behind the buildings already. The Holmes lot is 100 spaces.

Don't forget the Softball lot will be offline next year to replace the practice facility. When it comes back, I believe it should have additional spaces as well.HighlandsApp wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:31 pmPeacock addition/renovation and Edwin Duncan renovation are hoped to be started in fall of 2023 so if that timetable holds there will be a loss of spaces in Raleigh/Peacock lot for the construction project....
