David Jackson has mentioned on the Black and Gold Podcast that a vendor was brought in previously to discuss better cell service in the stadium.PoplarHillApp wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 12:51 pmI'd like to see stronger cellular/WIFI device signal in KBS and Holmes. During the games all of the available bandwidth is eaten up. I've tried to send photos/videos to friends not able to make the games and cannot get signal to even send a text. With Skyline/Skybest as a sponsor of App State Athletics, this would be a nice fix.

Love to see the EMC advertisement with pictures of KB Stadium and App fans rather than Tennessee football fans.

I agree with you. A friend of mine worked on the upgrade at Clemson's stadium a couple of years ago, and he said it ran around 2 million bucks.PoplarHillApp wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 12:51 pmI'd like to see stronger cellular/WIFI device signal in KBS and Holmes. Take out the individual urinals and add long urinal troughs with ice the length of the men's restrooms.

Back in the early 70’s, Yosef was a student with a nice beard wearing appropriate clothing for a mountaineer…wish they would go back to that. Have never really like the cartoonish mascot.

Hurry up and finish the Justice area, especially tearing down the other high rise dorm. That new parking will help tremendously!!!

Re: Change something…
I would like to see the East side Grand stands have a second floor put in that extends out to the sidewalk with concessions and possibly a few bathrooms. I don't think this would be as expensive as it sounds. If anyone went to the Montgomery bowl game their stadium had two levels with concessions and bathrooms. They had metal bleacher like ours. I think the lines for concessions are probably costing us a chunk of change. When my kids ask to carry contraband/food/drink in instead of asking me for money, you know the lines are long.

I would also like to see the basketball cameras lowered. Many of the other SunBelt school's productions look much better than ours. South Alabama has it right. Our camera angle is too high. Very much agree about the sound as well. It could be much better. By the way, I know last nights South Alabama game was ESPN2. Other games they have produced are really good. I would think this would be a project the schools could collaborate on with the Sunbelt.

Re: Change something…
Interesting concept. I’m not sure how practical that would be. Admittedly, I don’t know that I fully understand how they do parking assignments. Meaning that the criteria isn’t as easy as they present it. Last year, I asked for Library Roof and was told it wouldn’t be a problem based on my giving. I got Peacock. Nowhere near the Library Deck. Turned out to be better for me to be in Peacock.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 12:17 pmIt was an idea I've seen on here before that I wish I could give credit to the originator but can't remember who it was, but essentially have a system where it lets you choose your parking spot on a first come/first serve basis based on your priority points and donor level. Give a month period for current Yosef Club members to go in and choose a new spot or keep their current. If you don't choose anything and just renew at the current level, you keep your spot. Then after those 2 weeks, it opens up for new YC and season ticket holders to go in and choose. Essentially a seating chart like Ticketmaster uses for tickets except for parking spots. Season tickets could be the same concept. I'd imagine it'd be rather difficult to code that considering you have both priority points and donor level to consider, but I don't think it's impossible and it sure would save a lot of headaches.

Re: Change something…
I have floated that idea of game day apparel to some of the AD members. Not sure if it will happen. Towards the end of the season, they sold some team official items in the NEZ. I got one of the script Mountaineer hats and an all black “Swinging Yosef” golf hat.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 12:25 pmThat's a shame. As ridiculous as it sounds I'd pay $100 for a hat like.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:54 pmThey weren’t made available to the store for sale. They were athletic department issue only.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:28 pmI wish the Nike official apparel worn on the sides was available to the public.
I live in TX and the chances of me getting one of those black Nike script "Mountaineers" hats is lower than zero. I don't care how much they cost, I want one.
Offering the apparel we see worn on the sidelines can be a great money making opportunity and an easy way to help fans connect with the program.

I think we are. There’s only one mayonnaise: Duke’s.

Anything north of I-4 is Southern. A lot of horse farms and hard working folks in north Florida.
