Congrats also to Ryan Hastings on the men's side. Conference champion in the 800, and undefeated in the 800 indoors. He also scored in Three total events. Appsolutly awesome !

I followed the action yesterday and was crestfallen when it appeared we had lost the title when we finished out of the money in the final relay event and both Tx State and A State leapfrogged us. However, the triple jump had not been completed at that time and as I continued to follow the men's meet, the TJ was posted and we had scored 11 points to reclaim the lead and the championship.

That is an amazing transformation from last year. Coach Weaver and the staff deserve great credit for recruiting and developing the talent that lead to this accomplishment.

I checked in during the day at work, and when I arrived home I watched online. I had to get my daughter from softball practice and left around 5:20 with the women just finishing the last relay. We were ahead in points. I come back home and the relay is scored and we are in third. A kick to the gut there. I was frantically hitting the live results trying to find an event like triple jump or pole vault that take a long time to finish that may not have been completed yet to add some points. So glad triple jump came out the way it did.
