RPI #162 App State (6-7-0, 1-3-0), the host of next week's 2015 Sun Belt Men's Soccer Tourney, is facing
RPI #195 NJIT (4-8-4, 1-3-0) in Newark, NJ at this hour to determine the Nos. 4 and 5 seeds in the tournament.
At the half, the score remains nil - nil. The stats reflect a relatively equal game with two significant exceptions...NJIT has recorded three shots on goal; the APPS zero. By the same token, Apps' keeper Ben Chasteen has been credited with three saves; NJIT, zero.

Play now in the 72nd minute; still nil-nil. Apps have picked up their attack game considerably. They've had two narrow misses since the half; but still no cigar. At least they now seem to be playing to win, rather than playing not to lose.

Forward Stephen Chapman scored in the 84th minute off an assist from Defender Alex Beranger to give the Apps a 1-0 lead. Now in the 89th minute. NJIT has gone off the rails with rough play.
