Our Mountaineers (11-4, 4-0 SBC) are deep in the Bayou tonight to face the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette (4-12, 0-4 SBC). The Apps look to continue what is now a seven match win streak and perfect record in SBC play. The Cajuns hope to use this as a trap match to end a skid in which they've lost seven of their last eight matches--including a blow-out sweep by /\State on the Cajuns'' own hardwood last night.

The Apps have a firm hold on second place in SBC standings--just percentage points behind the /\State Red Wolves (5-0). They can't afford to stumble against an outmanned Cajuns squad. Mountaineer stars Jess Keller (OH), Emily Corrigan (OH), Paige Brown (S) and Meghan Mahoney (Libero) look to continue their assault on the Appalachian Volleyball Records Book.

A win tonight on the road will also reverse a road loss trend from last season in which the Apps were winless on every trip that involved a commercial flight.

We can watch tonight's match live at 7:30 PM on a 24 hours pass for Ragin' Cajun All-Access video for $%6.95. Go here... http://www.ragincajuns.com/watch/?Live=614

It would be nice right now if they did points for sets won and not just W-L records. I know no conferences do that, but we have had some nice sweeps and it would be nice if that counted more than a 3-2 win.

25-9 in the 3rd set at their house. That is making a statement.
