The App State softball team has started the season 0-6 after losing in 5 lopsided contests over the weekend.

All on the road and many against FBS programs. Touch start but they'll be okay. Just need to win one to get the confidence going.

They were essentially the lambs sent to slaughter in that tournament

I know they were probably all bigger than our girls but shouldn't we be able to beat football teams who have probably never played fast pitch softball?

We should have better luck in the Spatenburg tournament coming up. But yea the girls usually go on the road and play early season tournaments in warmer climates than Boone. It is good experience against in many cases superior teams but I am sure they look forward to getting on their home field. Hopefully we can have another great year in the SoCon and make a better go of it in the conference tournament than we did last year. Can't wait to catch a few games after it warms up a bit. I like that Warnock kid she is a great hitter and a beast behind the plate.
