WSOC at HPU for 7 PM KO

ASU's lady strikers return to play after a nine day respite to take on the Lady Panthers of HPU in High Point at 7 PM tonite. The Apps (3-2-0) have not played since shutting out UNC-A by a 2- nil count on Thursday, September 5th. They'll need to get the rust off early against a High Point side that is 0-5-0 and hopeful of getting its first win on the season in front of the home crowd. The Panthers last played on Friday night--suffering a 4 - 1 road loss to the Navy Midshipmen in Annapolis.
ASU leads the short series between the two programs 2-1-0. but the one loss to the Panthers came last season at Ted Mackorell Field. It was an own-goal that did the Apps in. They will look to take advantage of a veteran HPU side off to a rough start. Through 5 matches, the Panthers have been out-scored 23 to 3.
