SoCon Wrestling Tournament

App is absolutely dominating at this point. We have place 8 kids in the finals (out of 10 weight classes) and have a significant lead in the team standings. Cambell has won this tournament 4 years in a row, time to end that streak. Putting 8 guys in the finals is just unheard of, what a day so far for our wrestlers. The finals are on ESPN+ and start at 7 where as the prelim rounds are still going on right now on ESPN+. Of course with 8 in the finals we only had 2 in the wrestle backs, Goyner at 141 has advanced to the consolation finals (3rd/4th place) and Uliano at 184 should on the mat in few minutes.

Uliano wins his match at 184 to advance to the consolation finals tonight. The win give App State the TEAM title even before the finals start. That is dominance. The fact that the entire team is all still alive and wrestling in either the finals or the consolation finals is unreal. It means the worst that any of our guys will do is 4th place, and that would only be 2 of them, the other 8 will be 2nd at worse but considering we have 5 #1 seeds, looking to see a lot of Champions tonight.

Gonyer wins the consolation final at 141 for Thrid place. Lets keep winning.

The Sunbelt will include Beach Volleyball but not wrestling ...
