All our energy and most of the funding is going into football for better or worse.

What do you think the ratio of energy and funding be for football vs the other 17 sports?

That's simply not true any more. All sports funding had increased tremendously over the last two years. Football still gets most funding, but simply because it costs more to operate. ALL sports are now proportionately funded.

It took a few years to fix Cobb's mismanagement and we were on track to have it done sooner -- then covid hit.

If any sports makes money at App it has to be football. Football, MBB, WBB, volleyball, baseball, wrestling charge admission and I doubt the last 5 I mentioned bring in revenue from admission to cover the cost of the coaching staff let alone the cost of travel. Football has the greatest expenses but also the best chance for revenue. Baseball has a great looking and new turf. Wrestling has Varsity with their own rooms that were spotlighted a few years ago. Volleyball has a special playing service they roll out and not just a hard basketball floor that most schools have. Golf has the indoor practice simulator. Tennis is getting some indoor space. Softball will be in a new field soon. I hate they and track are so far away but it is the space we have, and it is their own space and not shared. WSOC and field hockey seem to have nice playing fields and again not shared. Their is certainly room for improvement but App is not doing bad for the weather we have, the student numbers we have and the alumni we have. I don't see anyone that should feel neglected or ignored.

My understanding is that that is not true at all.
