FAIRFAX, Va. – Senior keeper Kerry Eagleston made four saves Sunday afternoon, posting a clean sheet for the third time in four games, as App State battled George Mason to a scoreless draw. The shutout was the 15th of Eagleston's career, moving her into third place on the all-time list. App State (1-0-3) out-shot the Patriots (1-1-2) 9-7 on the afternoon.
The contest was physical from start to finish with the two teams combining to commit 30 fouls and two yellow cards.
App State will be back in action Sunday when they travel to Clemson for a meeting with the Tigers. Clemson opened the week ranked 18th in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches poll. They went 12-7-1 last season, including a 6-3-1 mark in ACC play.

Re: WSOC remains unbeaten after physical match at George Mason
I would prefer more wins (I just really don't get the tie thing in soccer) but at least they aren't losses this year. In the early stages, this teams seems far different than previous years. New coach seems to be working out well thus far.
