The Apps scored on a goal by soph forward Breckyn Monteith in the 24th minute of play. Frosh mid Sarah Widderich contributed an assist--her fourth on the season. Tremendous "D" from the Apps kept FIU off the boards the remainder of the afternoon despite their all-out assault on the App goal-front. The Mountaineer keeper, junior Kerry Eagleston, was credited with 11 (yep eleven) saves on the way to another clean sheet--her third of the season.

This was a good road win, but FIU is now just 1-7 on the season.
