Men’s Golf @ ECU

Another great week for Men’s Golf. Finished 2nd of 13, 6 shots behind Coastal. Best ECU, and 2 ACC schools. Before this event we were ranked 103 of 221 D1 programs. Should crack the top 100 at the end of this week.

In 2002 I spoke to my freshman roommate for the first time about a week before move-in. He was from Philadelphia. I can't make this up...I asked him why he chose Appalachian State. He said "I wanted to go to a school in the south warm enough where I can play golf year 'round". I laughed at him and said "man you picked the wrong school". Hahaha.

I'm going to guess he didn't help our retention rate. He must have literally done zero research before coming here haha.
And excited to see golf move in the right direction! We were struggling there for a bit, Allison must be working some magic.

It’s the new (old) Yosef golf logo. That thing is a winner, and the boys are playing like it.

Coastal had a pretty good player some years back,and continues to take advantage of their natural resources.
