Charlotte Invitational

Unread post by appst89 » Mon Feb 10, 2020 7:27 am

Looks as if the softball team had a pretty good weekend at the Charlotte Invitational. They went 2-2, but let the second game against UVa get away from them.

It's a promising start coming off the success of last season.

The one downside to the start is the performance of All Sun Belt pitcher Kenzie Longanecker. She was rocked in both losses. In 8 innings this weekend she gave up 10 earned runs.

Kenzie struggled during the last month of the '19 season and in the SBC Tourney. Hope she gets her focus/mechanics worked out soon.
