Re: WSOC: App State @ La Ragin' Cajuns 7:50 ET Tonite
Early in the second overtime, a ball was played forward inside the App box. One defender went to clear it out as a striker was a half step behind. The defender's clearance attempt a trailing defender point-blank in the face/side of the head and kareemed into the net for the golden goal. Keeper was coming out to meet the ball and was caught in no-man's land, which is the only real criticism you can give of the play. The attacker never touched the ball. It was just a horrible, accidental bang-bang play that resulted in a loss.
