The all-time series between the two programs is deadlocked at 7-7-3. Tonight's matchup will be the first between the two former longtime conference foes since 2013. Elon (4-7-1) has a current three-match unbeaten streak against App State (7-3-2) and will make its first visit to Boone, N.C., since 2012.

Both teams were originally scheduled to play each other on Sept. 18, in Elon, but the match was rescheduled due to effects of Hurricane Florence to a contest at Appalachian State.

No and yes! There's little or no chance of cracking the National Top 25 this season. Yes, we did move up from #10 to #9 in the NCAA Southeast region poll. CCU fell from #2 to #8 in that poll. We moved up one place and CCU fell six places.
