This has been a truly sensational year for women’s tennis! ( not so much for men’s’) reflecting on the universities’ sports year, I would say the the best overall , of any of our sports teams. Regular season= A-

Lost in the quarter finals to Troy , 4-3 . Were down 3-0. I watched off and on and it was a struggle for whatever reason. Interesting strategy in the final match did go three sets but we looked overmatched. Not the finish I expected.

If I read the App correctly, looks like we took LaLa down 4-0 in the first match. BUT as has become All to regular we lost To Troy 4-3 in the second match. Right now Troy is our Daddy in athletics.

I looked at the bracket, the #1 seed got upset in the first round, she seems to be the highest seed left on her side of the bracket. Could be a really good run coming up.

They play each day, so the R16 match is Thursday, and if she wins, the R8 on Friday, the Semifinal on Saturday and the Finals on Sunday.

With the win today, Sav is an All American, first in App State Tennis history.

Savannah takes set 1 by a 6-4 score. This match has been much tougher than her 1st two. Took almost an hour for the 1st set and her other 2 matches didn't go much beyond an hour.
