Good news. This along with leveling those two flea bag hotels is real progress on what everyone sees as they approach campus on the 321 side.

You will love Publix... great store, great to it's associates and will get most things you ask for if they don't have it in stock!

From what I heard the last year or so I was a student at app those bars will be demolished soon enough. What I was told is App was buying that property and building on it, not sure what.

Well...they finally announced it. It's been known for at least three months. But as with all things nothing is official until it's official.

Maybe the Publix announcement is the last piece to finalize the UM deal.

Employee owned. As much as I look forward to Publix I would personally prefer a Trader Joes.

I think you are going to like Publix. The Nuggets shop here since Harris Teeter sold out to Kroger, but HT still has better meat, and beer selection.

Honestly didn't think I needed to leak anything since so many people already knew. Not only was word everywhere but there were at least three paper stories that had public info stating that their parent corporation had filed for and/or been granted various permits. Even if the company wouldn't officially confirm it it's been a done deal for a while. Just had to work it's way through the red tape.
Sounds a little similar to something else that's been discussed on this board recently.

Publix is the BEST grocery store. So good, that were we to make the Cure Bowl, I'll be making a special trip to Publix in Orlando for their chicken salad. Amazing. Boone is lucky! I'm still mad at the uppity in Wake Forest for killing a Publix on the west side of Raleigh.
