Surprised this is news honestly. Not to be insensitive but there's a difference between VT-style shooting where a crazy is just out to kill people and gang violence that just happens to occur on or near a college campus.

I'll be candid, I guess. I've been a student at an HBCU since the fall and there have been three shootings since I've been here.
