I have a family member that attended ASTC and ASU in the 60s and I think her degrees have both names. She is not connected to the internet at this point and has no desire to start that at this point in her life. She asked me for some help in tracking down someone she knew from her days at App State.

If anyone has any information on Wilma Trivet (née Clark) could you send me a private message. I think contact was lost around the time of H. Helene.

The husband was Cecil Trivet. Might have an Newland address and one or both worked for Avery County Schools. They would be in their late 70s.

I know this is a long shot but I thought it worth giving this a try.

Well I posted here before I did anything else and maybe I should have done the Google first. When I typed in her name in Google I found an obituary from early 2024, which mentions names and locations that have to be the person I was looking for. Now I feel bad for my aunt that was not aware. I will be visiting with my aunt on Tuesday so I guess I will print out what I found and make a little folder to give my aunt.

At this point if anyone knew this person and want to add a note please feel free to do so. If they are nice thoughts I can print those out as well. It seems she was an English teacher.

The good thing is that I did indeed get a response in a private message so mission accomplished.

And I did use Google, but only after I posted here. I found what I needed in like 10 seconds on Google, but it was nice to get the private message here.
