My great grandmother's nephew was none other than country singer and former actor Randy Boone! Whose apparently a direct descendent of Dan'l Boone himself.

We're all members of the Appalachian Family of course, but now I can claim it by blood! Genealogy is really cool. I highly recommend digging into the history of your ancestors. The other side of my family has done a lot, which is how and why I started studying that side's ancestors' service of the CSA in the Second American War for Independence, and now I'm digging into the other side of the family.
