Singer-songwriter and producer known as the main architect of the Tulsa Sound, passed away Friday night at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. His manager, Mike Kappus, said Cale died of a heart attack. He was 74. "Call Me the Breeze", "Cocaine".....
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

I am very sadened to hear this. Friday night I picked up the guitar played a few tunes then thought about "Call me the breeze" played that then "Midnight Special" and a little Cocaine. Had my own tribute going on and didn't even know it. One of the best song writer pickers ever. Thank you JJ Cale for giving the world some good music.
