I saw him at Wilkes Community College around 2009 or 2010. He had lost a little of his voice, but still put on a really good show. He was a fantastic songwriter and singer.

While working at Coast Guard Headquarters in DC, I had access to all maritime casualty records including The Edmund Fitzgerald. I spent a few hours reviewing this particular case, interesting. Just for my personal enlightenment that is.

My wife and I also saw him at that WCC event. His songs will liive on...

This one stings more than most. I have lived his lyrics over my many decades and found much solace in these tunes that are burned into my soul.
