Planet and Moon

Unread post by NewApp » Fri Mar 24, 2023 7:56 am

Does anyone know what bright planet that was above the moon last night? It was as bright as Venus but looked a bit higher than Venus usually gets. Figured this would be a good question for McLeansvilleApp.

Probably venus but you can see Jupiter this time of year assuming you are on the east coast USA.

Download the SkyView Lite app on your phone. Works like a charm, just point it at the sky and it identifies stars, constellations, and planets. And it's free. Highly recommend.
