Get Away and Chill Awhile

Since there's no App game Saturday, the leaves are changing and there's a nice crisp feel to the air - believe I'll head up to my friend's camp in West Virginia this weekend. Good time to clear the head, get refocused, and spend time with friends before returning back to the football world. LOL Gather around the campfire, have some cold ones etc., eat some good campfire food and listen to some bluegrass. By the way, have ya'll ever heard of the band Route 3?

If it's warm enough Saturday, Dave and I will probably put our lounge chairs in the South Branch (river) in the sun (of course) and wave at the folks as they float by. LOL With a cooler of cold ones near by that is.

Leaving for the coast this morning to play golf with some high school friends this weekend. Nice relaxing time. A few beers, no broken bones and hopefully no broken clubs. Lol

Heading to Charleston today for a few days. Gonna catch a concert by our boy Luke while I’m down there. Relax and get ready for Gag State.

GO APPS!!

Autumn Leaves Festival this weekend in Mt Airy!!! Great food, lots of craft vendors, and plenty of bluegrass music.

Great recommendation! I've been trying to expand my bluegrass library. Listen to a lot of Billy Strings, YMSB, Railroad Earth, etc. Guess those would be considered jam-grass though.

Or if you're an experienced umpire around High Point, I'm looking for someone to take 3 11-12 year old games and umpire so that I don't have to. :D

Not sure if he still does since it has been years since I attended... Tommy Burleson would track the wooly worms in the races. He did not need a ladder to reach the top.
