ESPN Channels on Dish
All ESPN channels on Dish have been removed, seems ESPN (Disney) want to raise their rates significantly and in response Dish dropped their channels (ESPN channels). Great! Better not continue to be charged for the package rate we agreed on. Corporate greed at work once again, Frigging Disney!!

The Hulu bundle is probably going to be the answer for a lot of Sunbelt fans going forward

You still need to have the ESPN channels through cable or satellite to watch through the espn +app….. I have Dish and no espn channels and tried to see if I could watch through the app GameDay on espn …. (which I have through Verizon) and no luck. It appears I can watch the +games though.

Re: ESPN Channels on Dish
Verizon has included the disney+, Hulu, and espn+ combo with their mid and high-tier plans.
That combo alone is 13.99 as of writing this. They want you to have to go through them or Verizon to get their content. Just more of the streaming wars. Amazon is creeping on NFL content and will add more in the future. I think Apple tv is working something out with MLB. In the future in a couple of decades, everything will be through amazon, google/youtube, apple tv, or Disney/Hulu tv.

I read Disney wants another billion dollars. Its too bad more people just don't say go to hell.
Got rid of my Hulu and Amazon Prime because I got tired of the greed.
Still have cable (for now), but I'm relegated to listening on the radio to any games not on TV. Still better than giving a dime more than necessary to Disney or Bezos.

yeah, I meant Hulu live and bundle. I think that is a thing for them.AppFan11 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 1:22 pmYou still need to have the ESPN channels through cable or satellite to watch through the espn +app….. I use youtubetv and hulu bundle but not hulu live and bundle.
Maybe it is not a thing.

Re: ESPN Channels on Dish
YouTubeTV.....$69/month and includes: all ESPN channels, ACC, B1G, SEC, MLB, NFL, NBA, Golf, all local channels. We dropped DirecTV like a pair of hooker's panties. The bill is half now and we don't have 5000 channels that we don't watch.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Going to unlimited plan… Play More…. and use their cc to pay bill (reduces bill by $5/mo for each line) get the Disney bundle for “free”….. actually paid the same Mo cost when I had 8mb plan plus stopped paying for espn+ and got Disney + and Hulu.

You chose to keep cable over streaming???? Almost there entire populus is doing the opposite. I dropped Dish 8 years ago.RankinApp wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 2:58 pmI read Disney wants another billion dollars. Its too bad more people just don't say go to hell.

Re: ESPN Channels on Dish
Dropped SlingTV today. Aside from the decreasing quality over the years, I already use the Disney+ Bundle. Adding Hulu Live costs just as much as Sling+Packages, so it made it a nobrainer after this negotiation problem.

Just trying to figure out if there is an option under $50 for ESPN channels including U which was what sling was. And only added the sports package for U during football season.
