Sopranos Super Bowl Commercial

Unread post by Yosefus » Thu Feb 17, 2022 1:27 pm

Don't know about the rest of you folks but the Sopranos was my all time favorite show. The Chevy commercial with Jamie Lynn Siegler has to be one of my all time favorites as well. Well done and brought back bitter sweet memories my wife and I watching in our early days together. Meadow and AJ have all grown up into really good looking young adults also. RIP James Gandolfini!

Maybe it's just me, but I appreciated the fact that both teams stood while the National Anthem was played and sung. The young African-American lady singer did a super and touching rendition of the National Anthem. Made me misty eyed.

I still think Turtle is a fool for letting that one slip away.

Free thumbs up for anyone that gets that reference.

Hahaha. It be hard for any man to keep his mouth shut. Prior to seeing this commercial and this thread existing I had been considering an old memory lane binge watch of Vincent Chase and the boys of Queens. Think that might just happen now.

The Sopranos is a show I rewatch every year. Not one bad episode. Best show ever made. That commercial was better than the movie they came out with.

Entourage is another great one. Johnny Drama is one of my favorite characters of all time.
