Cam still isn't the problem. It starts with Ruhle and what they call an o-line. Of course, Cam isn't the solution either.

Except for possibly the Lions and Jags most NFL front office guys typically know when a player is no longer any good. The one guy who really probably knows is BB. How many players have the Patriots let go for nothing and they keep rolling on? Case in point- Cam

Well, he’s back and plays just like he did when he left.
Today …. 5-21, 92 yds., 2 INTs, 0 TDs, 3 rushes for 5 yds.
But I’m sure he’ll do a goofy “look at me” press conference. Seems that’s what he’d rather do than play football.

He even tried to lead some goofy touchdown celebration that looked disjointed. I’ll admit I was excited when he came back but I’m quickly reminded of his limitations. Why did every team pass on him? Pretty obvious

With the money they were paying Cam and the other so called skill players (actually all positions require skill of course) , there wasn't much more money left in the pot to pay high dollar linemen and still satisfy the investors.

He was brought back to try to boost attendance, excitement, and media coverage. That's about it. His glory days have come and gone. He's still relatively young but no longer can out athleticize (made that word up) his opponents. Being an assistant coach for a while at some level may be his next step.
