I remember when that happened. Wasn't watching though because in those days if you lived in NC you only got to watch the Redskins on Sunday afternoon.

One of Dempsey's old custom cleats hangs over the bar at the Olde Absinthe House bar on Bourbon Street. The Moody 1 and I have gotten a chance to see it a few times now. :)
