You should thank AppHoops for explaining the TLC post to you. That was very nice of him.
If you say so, but I shall reserve most of my gratitude for the ones who gave me serious advice including McLeansvilleApp who took the time to send me an informative private message
Woe is Cline.
I didn't realize you had a limit on the amount of gratitude you could give--that must be unfortunate.
BTW, I do say so. Instead of this pity-party post, you could have said, "thanks AppHoops for the info!" Nope, not Cline--he's used up all of his available gratitude.

New name, same Cline.

I like the fact that he admonished the one poster for posting a link to a website that helps you find falls in the area. Based on his OP you'd think that would be a perfect tool. What a DOOOSH

FYI. That link turned up nothing but the Google home site. Nothing more.

I doubt anyone would confuse NewCline and me for friends, but I really don't see where he asked a bad question here. Google doesn't know as much about waterfalls in the Boone area as many on this board, and I might even use some of the information here to take my girls sometime this summer. I've been looking for some day trips to take, and they'll have fun.
I did think the Chasing Waterfalls comment was funny, though I I had to read it a couple of times before I remembered it was a TLC song.

Glad you got the message. And report back on which waterfall you get to and your son's reaction.

To be honest, I had no idea there was a waterfall in Stokes County. From my house it is a bit farther away than I thought it would be using the map in my head, but before this topic was started I had no idea a waterfall was even that close (not counting the stuff that happens at the fall line between the Piedmont and Coastal plain.)
