Thank you. I have some issues going back to the ‘50s. Remember looking forward to grabbing it at the school library, later as an adult the weekly delivery. The photos , of course the covers. I think the depth of the reporting though …it just really impacted me as a kid.
SI has been bought and sold multiple times. Each time they seem to fire all the best writers. Now they are openly using AI to write a lot of their articles. It's trash. It's a shame. My grandma paid for my subscription for about 20 years, and it's a major reason why reading and writing are part of my professional life today. I used to read it cover-to-cover every Thursday when it came in the mail.

Nationals Park is on my list. The Nationals, Rockies and Giants are the only teams that I have never seen in person for a regular season game.
Nats Park is a must IMO. And you can hit Camden as well.
“The Bullpen” was a cool yard lot container bar concept outside of left field at Nats Park, always a good time, but developers have taken land down as the years pass shrinking the size of the lot. It had to be about a football field long of food and bev and now it’s down to just a “red zone” of food and bev.

Maybe hit Nats for Rockies/Giants series. Or fly to San Fran, that’s one of my favorite parks too! Some pretty cool baseball venues out there.
Definitely want to hit up San Fran. I don’t like sitting in the upper levels but I’d sit in the Right Field upper level for the view of the bay. I’ve been to about 1/2 of the team parks. I’ve been to the former homes of Detroit, Baltimore and St Louis. Just haven’t been to the new parks.

The Braves have a nice set up leading into the stadium. Nothing beats Wrigleyville.
Agreed on new Braves stadium. Wrigleyville should never be modified.
With that said, I love most everything about Camden Yards....and not really an Orioles fan ..
Saw the most boring game ever in Memorial Stadium. 1-0 Mariners win on a bases loaded walk in the top of the 9th.

My greatest baseball memory is seeing The Big Red Machine beat the Yankees at Riverfront in game three of the '76 World Series on their way to the sweep. Best team ever.

Best baseball memory. Met Willie Mays and saw Hank Aaron hit his 500th HR on the same day in Atlanta.

Two best memories are watching a game in Fenway, and seeing Tony Gywnn get his 2,500th hit in Cincinnati's old Riverfront Stadium.

My first major league game was the Reds in 74.
Beat the cardinals 2-1. Center fielder Caesar Geronimo hit a 2 run homer late in the game to win the game. Guy probably hit less than 50 HRs his entire career. Reds fan for life...

Have been a Cubs fan my whole life. In 1963 we went to visit my uncle who lived in Elmhurst. We went to the crosstown exhibition between the White Sox and Cubs in Comiskey and the next day we saw the Cubs and Mets in Wrigley. My childhood hero Ernie Banks, doubled off the Ivy in left.

Dodgers were my 1st team since I was living in L.A. Moved back home and became a Braves fan. Moved to Tampa Bay after college and went to the very first Rays game in franchise history. Been a fan ever since.

I was watching the Rays game yesterday (thank you T-Mobile). Incredible work they did in 4 days to get the stadium ready after Yankees spring training.
