Dare we start a Yosef coin?! Haha.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Just my humble opinion. Every crypto one purchases should be moved to a cold storage wallet. Maybe my conservatism, I move all my crypto to ledger cold storage wallet after purchase...if this is what you are referring toGreatAppSt wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:19 pmETH based, heavy on the gas fees IMHO and when you sell heavy on gas fees again. probably a good short term IDK because of popularity spike this weekend, but not for me. I'm Long term only. Let me know. Did you get it on trust wallet or Polygon network?

Re: Cryptos
Yes, taking ownership is critical. 90% of my holdings are in cold storage. I leave about 10% on platforms for the quick buy and sell if needed. I've been using Ledger nana x's two of them for last 3 years. Upgraded in to a Ledger Stax when it became available and had good reviews, it took a month to getBambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:45 pmJust my humble opinion. Agreed, but like anything investment strategy, crypto is highly speculative. So, diversified portfolio is suggested...but I do believe BTC was part of the investment equation..GreatAppSt wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 1:09 pmI wish Apps trust could buy Bitcoin reserve.

That idea will be interesting. Banks can get benefits of RippleNet without having to acquire xrp tokens. With that said, I do see regulatory changes coming soon as it comes to crypto.

I use the Tangem wallet, not fullblown cold storage but still very secure. Keycards contain a chip which generates a random private key offline, ensuring it can’t be compromised.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 12:45 pmJust my humble opinion. Re: Cryptos
Tangem provides actual physical keycards and a Web3 app. I like having multiples so I can store cards in several locations as backups.
The chip in each card generates a random, non-extractable private key. That key is stored on the chip, and no other copies exist across space and time.
What’s nice is you can store, buy, earn, transfer, swap and stake many coins and tokens using the cards and the app. So you have the security of a cold storage wallet with the convenience of a web-based wallet.
Not sure if it’s perfect, but I’ve used it for about a year and have been pleased with it. The kits start ~$50

What are your impressions so far? - what are the top talked about promising coins (current and upcoming) amongst the overall community gathering? If you are so inclined to share some cliff notes.GreatAppSt wrote: ↑Tue May 27, 2025 9:30 amI'm going to Las Vegas tomorrow to the Venetian and catch the last day of the Bitcoin conference then staying at MGM and attending the XRP conference Friday and Saturday.
