We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Favorite Hikes/Trails around Boone
Getting back up to God’s country for a long weekend. I feel like I’ve probably hiked about every trail in the area. We are planning to do quite a bit this weekend.
It got me thinking, what is everyone’s favorite or top 2 or 3 hikes/trails/views in the area. GO APPS!!

Elk Knob is a real good hike with some excellent views. Just past Meat Camp. Drive an hour toGreyson Highlands in Virginia. See the wild ponies. Great Views several good trails there.

Re: Favorite Hikes/Trails around Boone
Great hikes, in no particular order:
- Boone Fork Trail - starts/ends at Price Park. Five miles, somewhat strenous
- Price Lake Trail - Easy 2 mile loop, they also rent canoes/kayaks/SUP's there, a lot of fun!
- Rough Ridge - Incredible views
- Flat Rock - 30 min hike, amazing views

Profile Trail, just because it has quite a variety throughout the trail. Not exactly an easy hike though, or one that has particularly excellent views, but I just enjoy it for what it is.

Rough Ridge, hands down, with the best views. I’d build a little hut and live up there if I could....

+1 for Rough Ridge and Elks knob. A little farther away is Hawksbill that I enjoy a lot. Really miss being able to get easy access to Hebron Colony falls or I would squeeze it in on a short trip (not fond of taking the trails from Price Park).
