The contest is already in the Round of 32, folks. Shabazz has a big lead over his "opponent" from BYU, but let's not take anything for granted. This week's voting ends on Sunday. You get to vote each day. Get after it!

App State's 'Shad Shabazz for Mid-Major F-O-Y!

Keep voting thru Sunday; then , hopefully, he'll still be in the running and doing so against another opponent in the "sweet 16."

It gives the percentage of the votes when you vote but not the actual number of votes. Any way to see those?

None that I'm aware of; unlikely to be available, I'd guess.

As of 2:30 AM EDT, Ronshad has the lead again. We gotta kick it for him. Voting in this round ends at 6:00 PM today. Let's go, Apps.

Voted for Shabazz in round 3, and he is trailing the kid from uncc at this time by a big margin.

Too funny, they had a get out the vote campaign on their message board against Shabazz by voting for the BYU player.

Folks, the voting is beginning to look like attendance at HCC for a Mountaineer men's game. Just a few problems with that...it isn't January; it isn't 12 degrees with ice covered roads; and you don't have to risk life and limb or miss a night away from your family.

All you have to do is navigate to the voting site or to Twitter and cast a vote for 'Shad Shabazz. Once a day; or twice including Twitter--now through Sunday at 6:00 PM. Seems we owe him that much. How often does a Mountaineer get this honor and opportunity?

C'mon, let's get it done! It doesn't just help Ronshad; it helps App State Basketball. And it impacts recruiting. Don't think recruits aren't watching how this contest goes between App State fans and Charlotte fans.

Ronshad is a better player than the support he's received this week from App fans. Let's dig into this race and leave him with some dignity. He trails the kid from UNCC badly; but the percentages haven't changed much since early in the week. We've got until 6 PM today to make it a race. I hope everyone will chip in to help a fellow Mountaineer.
