Was it me that posted a sarcastic comment last week something along the lines of... "Hope springs eternal?"

Our basketball program has kept me on an emotional roller coaster since 1970-something. Our guys made a bad Tulane five look like an NBA playoff team--losing by 28 just four days ago. From that, I gave us no chance of beating Liberty. So we beat Liberty by double digits and now (tomorrow) face a Mercer team that beat Tulane by 10 ten on a neutral court tonite. Here we go again...

Unfortunately that's been college basketball pretty much across the board this year. I'm fine with it as long as they are consistent with the calls and don't just go back to the old rules when conference play starts. CBB in my opinion has been too physical over the past years and could use a lot more scoring, hopefully in the long run these rule changes will create that.

Go to 3 fouls instead of 5 and things would change over night. :)

Yes, i watched the video that TDog posted earlier regarding the new points of emphasis. Hopefully our guys will adjust and they were only responsible yesterday for 22 of the 54. Maybe this will clean up the game but right now a foul a minute is unwatchable.
