GaSouth is in first place in the Sun Belt at 12-4, tied with UL-M and GaState at the top. The Iggles can control their own destiny, and can claim the top-seed for the Sun Belt Tournament by winning out. The 2015 Sun Belt Tournament will be played at the 10,000 seat Lakefront Center in New Orleans, starting on March 11.
The Apps (6-10) are alone in eighth place after their recent free-fall from a fourth place tie. During their free-fall; their shots stopped falling and their defense completely disappeared. The Apps, of course, are not eligible for the post-season, so this is one of their/our "tourney games."
Strictly by ESPN's numbers, factoring in the home court for the Apps, the Iggles are still 4 point favorites. That does not take into account the opportunity the Apps have to rebound from the drubbing they took in the 'boro back in January or their opportunity to spoil the Iggles championship party.
Another service, RealTimeRPI.com has the Apps winning a 68-67 barn-burner. I'll take that outcome w/o further discussion.
