Mountaineers Conduct Fourth Preseason Practice
Men's Basketball Practice - Oct. 8
BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men's basketball conducted its fourth preseason practice on Wednesday with a two-and-a-half hour session inside Varsity Gym.
After an off day on Tuesday, the Mountaineers were hard at work on Wednesday by continuing to install their new offensive and defensive schemes, as well as go through the typical array of shooting and rebounding drills.
Wednesday's practice was fast-paced and intense, as has been the norm under first year head coach Jim Fox through the first week of drills. Appalachian began practice by shooting free throws before moving into fast break drills on offense and defense.
The second half of practice centered around the installation of the new offensive and defensive schemes, which promise to bring an exciting brand of basketball to the Holmes Center this year.
Practice wrapped up as the team went to the charity stripe to practice its free throw shooting again - something that has been a big emphasis in practice to this point.
The Apps are off on Thursday and Friday, but hit the gym again for back-to-back practices on Saturday and Sunday at the Holmes Center.
Check appstatesports.com throughout the month of October for practice reports and videos.

Thanks for the link, I forgot to add it. Until neulion took over, I could cut and past photographs. May just be a coincidence, however.

NeuLion has been the website backbone for years. They may have changed some setting in the last redesign last year. I'll give it a try and report back soon.

It could just have been a glich in my new Internet Explorer 8. I'm light years away from being a techie.
Isn't NewLion the entity which caused the zillions of down streaming frustrations for Yosef's Cabin members?

NeuLion does a few things, but if you are using IE 8 that could be the problem. That is an old browser.

Have you been able to cut and paste pics since we moved to YC/MMB?

Whoops, I meant Windows 8. See what I mean about being computer illiterate? When I had Vista, I could cut and paste just about anything, anywhere, anytime, but it let in way too many viruses on my old Dell. An aside, my new Dell, purchased in late June costed me $449.95 with the tax theoretically worked in. It is slower than my old Dell with Vista, however.
I know, too much superfluous information in this post.

I think I did when I had Vista. On my old computer, it had a lot of bugs which appeared when my computer dude, installed a new after market hard drive and replaced Vista with Windows 7. For instance, it wouldn't let me back page and wouldn't down load Flash Player.

Anyone know how Jacob Lawson is looking? I have been a huge Purdue fan for a while and when I saw he transferred here I was stoked. The dude is an amazing athlete... Maybe he will put some butts in seats for us.

I am running Win7 and Firefox though I sometimes use Chrome. I can't cut and paste pictures from any site into YC/MMB either. I think this may be a YC situation to be honest and not a NewApp of MAF problem.

Saw him at one of the summer practices. He is big and strong, and has a nice touch around the hoop. I didn't really see him take any jump shots or perimeter shots. He bodies up and plays good D. Good on the glass. Hope that helps.

Others have done it on here somehow.

You cannot cut and paste, but you can use the Img button at the top of the Post a Reply screen to insert a picture into a post.

I believe you but on the old, obsolete MMB board, one could cut and paste to one's heart content. Having said that, this board is tons better over all.
