He is under 6'4".....actually under 6'0"...... Adolph Rupp had "Rupp's Runts" but these players look like they couldn't qualify as runts. Need some TALL people!

What does Coach Fox have in his left hand, it looks like a piece of paper. Or, is it something else.

Why, cause I think we have a real coach and I don't care what they look like. I only care how they play.

MMB member KiddBrewer suggested this...You shouldn't play with a neck brace? I completely agree. Practice just started and one of our toughest hombres (Mike Kobani...see far left in pic) is already wearing a neck brace. Anyone know what's happened to him? How did he get injured and how serious is it? If healthy, he should be a force for us this season. He'll have some talented help for those down-low post battles.

From Tommy Bowman in WSJ: "Kobani is recovering from a neck injury and, like Obacha, who has missed workout time with a foot injury, is about two weeks from being full speed."

To be fair, none of the practice pics show Kobani actually practicing, although he's dressed out.

I went to one of the practices and saw certain players with new FT motions, so that had been a major area of emphasis so far. Also, the tempo was very fast. Looks like Asst Coach Allison is bringing that from VMI.

If you want to be excited. Here's a pic Fox Tweeted a couple weeks ago showing FT% in summer practices.

Looks like we have a legit coach. I hope our fanbase knows it will need to be patient with this program as well the next couple of years.
