Two days remain in the Division I spring basketball signing period. The final signing date is Wednesday (May 21). Armel Potter's camp has been very, very quiet. Seems that several JuCos, Ball State, South Alabama and others have jumped on the merry-go-round with ASU and Winthrop. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Institutions can still issue LOI's after midnight on Wednesday, but they will be non-binding. If an institution signs a player after May 21, and that player later gets a "better" offer, then kiss him/her good-bye. No penalty nor room for protest occurs in any way. Tampering is expected for any 2-star player and up.

I think it's all over; either it's decided and over or Potter is creating some last minute drama. Going back to yesterday and last night; and as late as an hour ago, Potter (himself) has been retweeting stories about receiving "strong interest" and an offer from Ball State.

Ingram is the Chapel Hill,, NC PG who, at the last minute at this time last year, scrapped a commitment to App State (Capel) to play at Charlotte. Wonder where he's headed now? Could he be headed to App now? If so, he has to sit a year, but would have three years of eligibility remaining.

Don't know what Fox thinks, but from his stats, he might be worth a look. Lot of experience (averaged better than 25 mpg in two seasons), and was a 44% 3pt shooter this past season. Although, considering he only averaged 2 assists per game, might be more of a shooting guard in a point guard's body.

Argggggggggggggghhhhh, I've lost a complete year of my life. Time sure does fly. I do remember that Ingram started against us last season at HCC. He's better than any of our current PGs or 2Gs. One does have to wonder if Ingram has academic problems or if Major has recruited over him and he sees the handwriting on the wall--less playing time.
