Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Appalachian State University Full-time, 12 month position
Responsibilities: Duties include assisting the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of a Division I intercollegiate women’s basketball program, including, but not limited to, recruiting, on-court coaching, scouting, game and practice preparation and overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree: Collegiate coaching experience including demonstrated experience in the recruiting process of qualified student-athletes; thorough knowledge of NCAA regulations; knowledge of and prior experience with administration of collegiate team travel; strong organizational, communication, and public relations skills; and computer literate.

Prefered Qualifications: Collegiate women’s basketball playing experience, experience in preparation of scouting reports; and prior experience of community outreach and/or involvement with university activities.
