I came across this AP article about Gregg Marshall. It is an excellent primer for the qualities App should search for in a HC.
Not necessarily a Blue Blood.
Grit.
Ability to teach the game.
Dynamic.
How to be a CEO of a program.
Integrity.
I don't think anything is a surprise in the article but it tells me there is someone out there waiting to lead, someone who has the skills needed to make App relevant when it might otherwise be considered a dead-end job.
