MBB: 2026-27

Went through some public records today and found some schedule pieces.

Friday, Nov. 20 vs North Texas
Sunday, Nov. 29 vs Dartmouth
Sunday, Dec. 13 vs ECU

Monday, Nov. 9 at Auburn
Friday, Nov. 13 at Charlotte
Saturday, Dec. 5 at Kentucky

That Friday North Texas home game is before a home ULM football game.

App MBB is not in the MAC Challenge. Kerns said at the Spring tour that MBB will be in a Tip-Off Classic to start the season and will be "one of the first college basketball games."

Why Rock Hill? Winthrop hosting?

It's a 24 hour kickoff of basketball between two sites. Not at Winthrop, but at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center. Looks like they hosted three games last year in the same event. 1200 seat arena.

At least the trip down to Rock Hill will be before rush hour traffic

Would rather play Lenoir Rhyne at home. Or anyone. Instead of spending money to travel (bus) and a hotel for a 6am game against a D2 school.

I'm getting ready to head there in a few minutes for our son's game. It's the best AAU facility we've ever been to by a mile.

Monday, Nov. 2 vs Merrimack at Rock Hill, S.C., 6 a.m. (Field of 68 Tipoff)
Monday, Nov. 9 at Auburn
Friday, Nov. 13 at Charlotte
Friday, Nov. 20 vs North Texas
Nov. 23-25 vs three of Akron, Belmont, St. Bonaventure, Wright State, or Yale at Kissimmee, Fl. (ESPN Events Invitational)
Sunday, Nov. 29 vs Dartmouth
Saturday, Dec. 5 at Kentucky
Sunday, Dec. 13 vs ECU

With the Sun Belt slate that's 28 games known. Guessing there will be a home opener after Merrimack and before Auburn. Also likely something between Charlotte and North Texas.

Sun Belt slate begins Dec. 19 at Louisiana Tech, then resumes Dec. 31 at home vs Troy.

My grandson has played some AAU tourneys there. Nice facility.
