I agree. Most other outlets have us at a 15 seed (which I agree with). Win out or even drop a game and we should easily be a 14 seed. The difference between the 12/13 and 14 seeds is substantial this year.

Could be wrong, however, the SBC does not get respect as it relates to basketball. Not sure we get to a 12 or 13 seed even if we win out. If we had made tournament 3 or 4 years in a row..then maybe some respect. Hopefully, I am completely crazy and we get a 12 seed..upset city baby!!

I feel like the SB gets the “appropriate amount of respect”. Every 2-3 years we’ll have a team that stands out, but overall not so much.

I’m with you. The committee’s gotten better the past few years, but they still don’t respect the SBC as much as other mid-majors. Unless there are some crazy conference tourney upsets, I don’t see the SBC champ getting a 13 seed. 12 seed is out of the question. Most projected 12s and 13s are mid-majors with only a few losses. In a perfect world, we win out and play in Greenville as a 14.

Too many turnovers and not getting enough good looks on offense. Defense is doing mostly well, JMU is holding on their screens, but refs not calling it. It’s given them at least 8 points as a result. Need to continue to play hard defense and hopefully we go on a streak in the 2nd. We were down 7-0 early before going on an 8-0 run, so it’s doable.
