Will be attending the JMU game on Thursday. First basketball game so far this year.
Is the Rivers Street deck still the best place to park or does anyone have any better suggestions?

It may be. I was able to get in recently. Could have been a fluke. I always try and then move down the street.

Holmes parking deck is $10 to park on Gameday

It may be. I was able to get in recently. Could have been a fluke. I always try and then move down the street.

When I've gone, they were at the entrance selling passes. Except when it was raining and they bailed and then it was free parking. Take your time leaving after the game though or your time will be taken getting out of the deck. (it backs up)
