1/10 - MBB at Beach Chickens, 1pm

We were able to overcome poor shooting against a bad Georgia State team and may be able to do it against Coastal, but we have JMU on the horizon so it’d be nice for them to hit their groove heading into that one.

Thanks for creating this thread. I was just on my way here to do it.

Any advise for the assistant coach to relay? Mine would be to feed Marcus and Wilson early. When they start doubling down, look to kick out for Tot, Jennings and Dodd for open 3’s. Don’t be lazy with passes. Keep things ugly, as always. Try not to hit too many free throws.

Mine would be to throw it into Wilson and Wilson's only option is to kick it out for a three and then crash the boards. We have shooters but once again they have a hard time creating their own shot.

That being said, I think we win by 20!!!

On offensive rebounds, don’t bring ball back down, go back up immediately. You either get the basket, a foul, or both. Luke tends to bring it down and get it stolen. Missed opportunities.

In the spirit of your recommendations, I would encourage the squad to
  • Enjoy Dirty Myrtle’s many delights, then
  • Arrive hungover and late for tip-off

Run the play clock down and heave long distance 3’s to avoid shot clock violation

Per announcer, we’ve lead the conference in scoring defense 4 years in a row. That’s not nothing

Mcvicker for Coastal is like Christopher Mantis. Has a reputation as a sharp shooter but can’t hit 💩.

That’s two charges that were called as defensive fouls.

We’re best when Dodd, Jennings, Tot, Wilson and Marcus are on the court.

At least they’re making bad calls on both sides. These refs are garbage.

One thing watching this telecast CCU marketing doing a great job finding sponsors. Every spot filled with either local businesses in and around Conway or CCU pump. We have a lot of empty spots during our telecasts. Room to improve for App, money out there, may not have the vision or resources to tap it.

Coastal’s court is even more of an eyesore than their football field. Their uniforms look like practice unis.

Need Jennings back out on the court and missing Banks in the lineup

Absolute collapse! If Dustin Kerns could figure out how to prevent the collapse and teach his team to shoot free throws he’d be coaching at a high major school right now.

11-13 today so far. Be hilarious if we shoot over 85% from the line and lose
