I don't know how to do this, but we need to start a campaign to news media (Like we did when we were trying to crack top 25 in football polls) for teams scared to come to Boone to play basketball. I am assuming our admin and AD have done all they know how to do to get teams playing in Boone. WE as a fan base need to start a campaign to "SHAME" ECU, UNCC, WAKE, Davidson, UNCG into playing us in a HOME and HOME each year. There is no reason for them not to be playing at BOONE.

You young folks need to make this happen through FB,SNAP,X and all the other platforms. Overload the mailboxes of sports writers.

UNCC and ECU I assume would sign a H/H relatively easy and have in the past. UNCG I don't care about but I don't see why they wouldn't play us. Davidson got weird after leaving the SoCon I assume they have no interest. Good luck on Wake, don't hold your breath for them to come to Boone in BBall or fulfill their obligation for football.

Maybe we can start adding it to our players contracts that if they get bought out the team buying it out owes us a game in Boone.

UNCC and ECU should be annual home and home games. I would think they would want and need it as bad as we do. I just don't see the negative for any of the three. Rivalries matter.

If that were truly the case, we would have played or rumblings of playing since 2021.
They have really never played us in basketball or baseball. Maybe it changes. But, since it has never been a thing...do not see it happening.

I'd tell UNCC we ain't playing them in football unless we play hoops and baseball. They need us in football way more than we need them in the others, but it's dumb not to play in every sport.

Some of them are spoiled. Some coaches don’t want to be on a bus for a 1.5 hour trip (WF) or a 2 hour ride (UNcC) and do not want their players to do it, either. They forget about when they were in high school and long rides were the usual.

how so? as mentioned there's no need ot play them in football if they are unwilling to play in other sports. not sure its worth cancelling the current series over.

We should also try to grow our fanbase in the charlotte market. I feel one reason we don't is not to encroach on another unc school institution.

Baseball may be a different story. Our program is good enough that the OOC schedule must be built to get us to the NCAA Tournament. This is a numbers game for us, and not an effort to avoid your team.

Football is going to be anybody's guess for the next couple of years. I think chaos favors the underdog, so maybe we get lucky.

Might want to check out our RPI in baseball the past few years. We would have been the #2 team in the AAC the last two years and #5 in 2022.
