Great to pick up the win. Tate / CJ played great. The lineup adjustments look good.

I'm excited for this week. Sam Houston looks solid. Only downside Flosports sucks, but oh well.

We looked to be denying in the passing lanes against W&M instead of the usual pack line defense that Kerns likes to use. It’s a more aggressive defensive approach, but also higher risk if the opposition has the athletes to counter it. We did get beat on back door cuts a few times, but the aggression was a nice shift. Maybe that approach works for this squad.

I wonder if that had to do with Bill & Mary style of play. They did not seem to have a huge post presence.
Either way, I like that we modified to what we thought was best D philosophy to win the game.
