Re: Queens
A little surprised that neither Ezeagu or Alston played last night. I know you have to start narrowing the rotation, but I really like what little I've seen from Ezeagu, he's that got that does all the dirty work and loved his energy.

Re: Queens
Hope we aren’t going to be a 2 man team all year. I’ve always been a believer that a January team can look way better than a November team. Hope that’s our case.

Re: Queens
Both teams shot 49% from FT, Queens FG shot percentage was 32% for the game. My goodness it looked ugly, but the stats are even worse. Let's keep improving.

Re: Queens
I have to say, this is the CJ Huntley I have been waiting for. Aggressive, played with fire, looking to score, great defense.
I know we can't rely on him and Tate every night, but hopefully their leadership will continue and we can grow a 3rd option.

Re: Queens
We look to be middle of the Sunbelt pack. At this point I’m hoping for better than .500 I just don’t see the shooting to do much better. Harcum Spillers and Abson would be all Conference contenders , Marsh a difference maker. Could have gone back to back and then some.

Re: Queens
Threadgill is the #2 guard, only took 1 three, but led the team in assists. If he’s not going to be a 3 threat, can we switch he and Tate? He seems to be a good facilitator and played good defense so he needs to be on the floor. I was happy with Beaubrun, but needs to work on not fouling. Also, can he get his little brother, Kenny Payne, to come to App after the Sekai Taikai Tournament?

Re: Queens
It looked like we were making a concerted effort not to take a lot of 3-pointers. (We went 5 of 14 beyond the arc while Queens was 6 of 37.) I saw that as a welcomed development even though it may have impacted Threadgill’s offense.

Re: Queens
Definitely using these games as extension of practice to an extent, DK knows he’s just prepping for conference right now.

Re: Queens
I hope that was the game plan after we took way too many in our previous games. These young guys need to learn to play within the system and not force things.

Re: Queens
Only Tate and Huntley took more than 1 three.
